I came back with bigger questions than the ones I left with — and that changed how I think about my future.
Student · 2026 cohort

The world has changed.

Are we preparing students for the world they will actually enter?

For generations, international education has looked mainly to Europe and North America.

Understanding today's world requires a wider map. Asia has become essential to understanding technology, business, culture, education, cities and global careers.

A global education that leaves Asia out offers an incomplete map of the world.

The argument is about widening the map — not replacing it.

What the experience is designed to develop

Expand the size
of their world.

When young people experience different cultures, universities, technologies, companies and ways of thinking firsthand, they don't simply return with more answers.

They return with bigger questions.

More references. More perspective. A larger mental map of the world.

See → Understand → Experience → Connect → Create → Reflect

Isabella · Colégio Galois, Brasília
It was transformative to visit a country with a culture and history so different from ours.
